Illegal speech only if Obama gets elected, because the Supreme Court justices he is likely to appoint are likely to burn the Constitution. Two justices he likes, Breyer and Ginsberg, ruled that it is OK for developers to steal private property for PRIVATE gain via eminent domain, if they can gain the collusion of less than ethical municipal governments.
Is it a lie that people spewed hatespeech on the MoveOn site? Probably not. Anyone can post on MoveOn, even the scum who wrote this article. Indeed, a lot of the trash written on the Obama site came from people who were supporting McCain on other sites. A lot of the most vile trash about Palin came from people who would sign onto an Obama-supportive mailing list, send spew, and then leave. Then, miracle of miracles, people would point to the spew and say, "See, those Obama people are saying bad things!" Were these spewsters Democrats? Probably not. They were just people dumping trash so that other people could quote it. Maybe some of the same people who are quoting that kind of trash here, today.Anyone can say anything on open sites. The fact that this racist trash was posted on Digg doesn't mean that the owners of Digg agree with it, endorse it, support it, are are accountable for it. The claim that Obama is responsible for everyone's speech on an open site is gloriously inflammatory, but absurd. This is so patently absurd that I have to assume the authors of the article -- and their apologists -- know that. Knowing that, and making these absurd claims anyway, is what makes these assertions beneath contempt.
