Oh, great. Obama's going to waste time on a symbolic gesture. Maybe he'll get to recycling next. Beats the more difficult and less fun work of trying to reconcile a disastrous healthcare plan with a solvent economy.

Well I for one think this is a great idea and I hope he does it. It's a "do as I do", not a "do as I say, not as I do" like Bush, Reagan, etc... People learn by example.

Awesome, then maybe he can make a rebate program so we can afford to put solar panels on our own homes.

Should be easy enough to do...Reagan ripped them off the last time they were installed...I would think the original plans are still around unless Reagan burned them in one of Nancy's bizarre rituals or to light fires for her seances(anyone have an idea of how much power would have been saved if they had actually been LEFT on the WH since Carter?)

What, put up the solar panels again, and piss off the fossil fuel industry? After all, that's why Ronnie Raygun took them down and they never went back up. One must be loyal to one's friends.
