It is outstandingly ironic when republicans start dogging Obama for a name they gave him. No democrat, centrist, or person that voted for Obama ever called him the messiah, only crazies on the right that have to demonize their opponents because they can't hold intelligent discussions.
"Obama is our best chance to reform this country since JFK. He just has too much of a desire to compromise when he needs to stand up and fight. "What you call desire to compromise is actually Obama's policies playing out in reality. You say you support him but on all the major issues it seems you do not. Come on folks... we are talking about illegal domestic spying and wars of aggression, do you really want the blood on your hands?
You sir, are incorrect. Not to be a nerd, but 'expire' (for its use in this headline) is an intransitive verb, as It does not have a direct object. If, for example, the headline was 'Obama Backs Burning (the act of burning or the state of being burned) Patriot Act Spy Provisions' your statement would make sense. The form of expire used in the headline simply refers to the Patriot Act and it's expiring state. Think about it.
We are supposed to fight between each other over these wedge issues to occupy the masses in high school debate, as all personal property and power of the people is wrung dry by the world elite. Not to say the government can’t make change, but its going to take a lot more than a Democrat president in office to do so. I must admit Dems run their game a little closer to my heart, pandering to what seems to be the goodness and logical reasoning in people while Reps seem to work more with the fear and thats not whiskey on my breath Im your dads friend side of things.Republicans see Democrats as want to be intellectual elite blindly following their corporate demigods whom are set out to give up American sovereignty and enact laws that will remove personal responsibility, taking away their god given rights as free Americans.Democrats see Republicans as religious zealots uninformed trying to push their biblical and military agenda while destroying the American name and enacting laws to remove personal privacy and take away their god given rights as free Americans. Its seems as though the only thing both agree on is no matter which party we have directing brand America. We are boned..
Of course he supports it.The president has about as much say in the day to day operation of this country as I do.Obama supports this, just as Mccain would have supported this. The 2 party system is a sham.
hey, it was outlined in his campaign under "political positions".for those that voted for him and still find it a surprise you didn't do your homework. regards, http://www.khaos.info/

Guess my attempt at irony failed. Oh well, I was just following Carter's lead.
