just to comment on why people don't riot is because their isn't an organizer and if he was to be identified by the government that we created and pay for he would be taking out faster than martin Luther king or john Lennon ,they tell us that we are free to change are country but by the measures they take to suppress us are proof that they only want to safe guard their own interest,name a place ,name a time ,you and me are their worst enemies just old men hiding behind laws and the police...a smarter way to destroy the beast would be simply to cut the head off the snake meaning quit paying taxes ,quit going to work and quit making them strong then when their weak and have no police ,FBI and CIA to protect them in-thus regain the country for the people ...i for one think the government for any people is unnecessary for freedom, we can have the same quality of life if not betterif we didn't have to rely on these parasites...
The funny thing about this comment is, it reflects this particular readers' ignorance of police policy. When someone is running away, you actually CANNOT shoot them in the back. The only reason this has escalated is because they claim a gun was found on the man, so at this point the police can say anything. It's actually part of police policy that a fleeing suspect is to be pursued via backup, maybe even air support. It's the same for a police officer in a car chase - they can't shoot from a moving car at another moving car without EXPRESS permission from HQ/the P.D. They can't fire at a fleeing suspect offering no harm, particularly because it's dangerous to fire at a moving suspect with others around you. See, I have a father that was an officer of the law for 10+ years, and a brother who serves as a state detective, and is used as a SWAT sharp-shooter in escalated situations. I know the law, and I know how police policy is taken care of. Maybe if this reader would do some research before hand, he could save himself from sounding so very ignorant in the future.

I came home and barely noticed a full car drive away as i went in. As I was listening to my answering machine I heard some banging metal to metal noises out back. I looked out a window and saw a man with a large pry bar trying to bust open the sliding glass door in my back yard. I grabbed my 12 Gage, Loaded it, put one in the chamber and creep ed to the other door to the back of the house. I busted the door open aimed at him and demanded he didn't move. It turned out in the end he had just got the door open because when I came back after he was gone the door was wide open. After I confronted him he paused for a second or two then took off running as fast as he could, dropping the pry bar almost immediately after beginning to run having realized how useless it was against my firearm. I took chase after him through the side gate and up the street screaming at him to stop and getting many of my neighbors to come out front to investigate. I caught up with him and decided hitting him with the butt of my gun or tackling him caused a possibility of discharging my weapon or giving him opportunity to get possession of the weapon which may endanger mine or my neighbors lives if he was desperate enough to use it to get away. When I was chasing him he was pleading in what i believe was Vietnamese all the way down the street. He had the American look and was young so he obviously spoke English and I don't look like someone who'd likely know Vietnamese so I can only assume he was so scared he pleaded in his primary language. I stopped and let him continue running. I screamed for him to keep going. When I turned to go back to my house I remembered the car that left when I pulled up trying to figure out how he got there. Just then the vehicle came around the corner at my house slowly so I ran toward it. They saw me and started coming towards me at normal speed in case I didn;t know, I had the gun behind my back. The car had 4 other people in it and was a Honda civic decked out for street racing. I held the gun out to my side pointing up and yelled profanity's at them. I ran up and kicked the car just as they took off like a bat out of hell. I retrieved the license plate number, type of Vehicle, colors, and distinctive characteristics. I ran hope within 30 seconds and called 911 providing a description. The address associated with the tag was located in a Vietnamese ghetto area leading me to believe they owned the vehicle they were in and It wasn't stolen. Still with my assurance of being able to ID the driver and the person breaking into my house they only did a sweep of the area not including freeways and not notifying the CHP or the neighboring city of Oakland that the tags came from with an APB for the vehicle. They refused to show me mug shots, go to the house and try anything to attempt to get an ID on the person or ANYTHING AT ALL there were fingerprints on the glass of the door he opened, so goo I could see them with the naked eye. They refused to take them and see if we could ID the bugler. All they did was take a report. When I asked if he could use the pry bar for fingerprints he said no, the he paused, then said "well I'll take it and see if we can do anything. He said this with a clear tone that indicated nothing would be done with it. I could have gotten more use out of it. It took them about 5 minutes to respond to my call after i got off the phone with the operator who i began the talk with about `1 minute after the get away car left. The cop came by, got the description again from me after id given it to the 911 operator, he left and came back 5 minutes later and took the report the pry bar then left, They did nothing and had I not taken initiative I could have been in danger. They mostly abuse people who have drug problems many of them never even committing crimes other than posse sing and being under the influence of them. Until of course they go to prison then become violent from being in a traumatic place that demands violence to survive....literally. Some never think they need help because they are treated like bad people by police and like criminals in jails and the penitentiary. They believe they are being singled out and start believing they are bad people. THEY ARE JUST SICK. That is why the cops cant help me. Most of them are busy Chasing the guy using drugs instead of the guy that just broke into my house. Or a few days ago the guy that attempted to assault me through the window of the car i was in then he hopped in his Buddy's car he came in before i could get out and beat his ass. He jumped out and swung for my head, i blocked it and he got in the car a drove off. I got the plate and the cops made every effort to get me to not file charges. They made it sound unlikely that he'd get into trouble for it. There were witnesses and even traffic cameras that could have proved it too. But they don't use the cameras for assaults on people over their road rage. They use them to track a drug dealing hot spot though. Yes drugs greatly increase the chance of a person turning to crime. But plenty of criminals especially a large amount of violent and or sexual offenders are not drug users. Those are the worst crimes in my opinion. Then I believe theft is next which are not only drug addicts. Though this is something the ones that turn to crime will do to fund their habit. Sometimes violence goes with this type of crime. Both for drug users and for non addicted persons. Point being eliminating drugs (which we really will never even be able to significantly lessen) will not stop crime because they aren;t the only perpetrators. I have over and over personally seen the police not chase the actual criminals because resources are used up on drug task forces etc. The cops are treating people who may only have a pot problem like the murderers. I don't know if this guy was bad or not. Point is I GET TREATED THAT WAY AND THEN NOT CHARGED OR EVEN RECEIVING AN APOLOGY WHEN THEY FIND NOTHING.
