Um, not to distract completely from the story, but did you actually take the time to complement yourself, about your side notes on this story? Digging your own story is one thing, but this is another level. T.H. will your ego EVER get a rest. . .and personally I do not think suing a cash strapped police department (in a high crime city) is the right answer, or a positive message to increase the 'good will' between cops and photographers.
Point taken. I know the original story is here on digg somewhere (actually couldn't find it with a search now), but I thought some of Thomas' comments, as well as the concise presentation, was worth a digg. Thanks for the direct link, though. Good to have both in the story.
