thinkprogress.org — Discussing Focus on the Family's ?Attack on Christmas 2007? list, the guest mentioned that Old Navy?s catalogue uses the phrase ?holiday morning.? O?Reilly then suggested the store may be trying to ?incorporate the nine days of Hanukkah in the holiday morning description? as a ?marketing tool.?

The tool suggesting someone else as a tool? Oh, the irony...

A don't see why any alleged Christian would be offended by a Jewish holiday. THERE FOUNDER AND ALL 12 APOSTLES WERE JEWISH! I guarantee you they celebrated Hanukkah, it was only a few centuries earlier, during the Maccabeean war this event happened. At the end of this war Jews won the right to be Monotheistic and not forced to worship Roman gods. A right that kept the Christians unpersecuted and free to practice Christianity for it's first 100 years. Christians should celebrate Hanukkah ALONGSIDE Jews and they should celebrate Hanukkah TOGETHER!Both parties may not believe in Christmas but any Christian who knows anything should celebrate or at least TOLERATE Hanukkah as their Saviour and church founders did.
