forum.insanelymac.com— "The world of 'OSx86' gets more interesting every day. Kernel hacker semthex has found a way to build a 100% legal 10.4.8 kernel for OS X which runs on everyday PCs." Now with GUI!

Sometimes I just want to post the dugmirror.com link and click it myself, in that case I just type the base URL and let the referrer magic happen. If you need the full link then post it, but don't expect someone else who doesn't to do it for you. If I do edit the URL and have the whole thing handy, I'll post that but that's often not the case.
@ pixeldust no, the comparison apple made is comparing apples to oranges, they seemed to glaze over the diferences that favored the dell and make a huge deal about the ones that favored apple.Did you notice the graphics card? there is a HUGE diference between a 128 mb graphics card (that particular one has no dedicated graphics ram, the 128 is shared with the system ram) and a 256 dedicated GO 7800! about a 200 dolar difference. As for the screen, the screen is about 30% larger, is a higher resolution, (yea, maybe the color is better, but the dell has a resolution higher than my HD television!) Apple doesnt mention any of dell's features that they dont have!!If you spec a Dell with a 2 GHz processor, twice as much graphics memory, twice as much RAM (same quality/speed as the mac) a screen that is still a higher resolution than the mac, 160 GB HDD, ( If I'm not mistaken all of those are upgrades from the mac) It somes out at.... 1440!!!!thats 600 dollars cheeper for a much better computer as far as specs go (which is the whole premise of the article in the first place).Any lower, and they would have mentioned that the 15 inch mac (with worse hardware) weighs about 2.5 pounds less than the 17 inch dell (the screen alone is 30 % bigger!) this article is BS!

I would rather have the best of both worlds in Mac hardware. Not in PC.
