pimpyourlinux.com — Enlightenment's Engage Dock not only looks great on any Linux distro, it's got amazing functionality. It has a system tray built right into it, so that you won't have to compromise missing out on your Gaim notifications. And with a vista Style clock included, this bad boy will make your friends and co-workers drool. Check out my pimp review.

Seeing as more than 90% of work desktops use Windows instead of Linux and that all my co-workers use Windows, no it will not make them drool.

As a Mac user and an M3 owner, I formally request you stop being such a giant tool.

There's a reason why they call it D-E17. It's been under heavy development for at least 2 years. While engage does seem to meet the main features of the OSX dock, you could only get the feature enthusiasts/desktop environment ricers/OSX Wanna be-ers to go through the 5 layers of hell in order to get this compiled up and running decently. Wait till E17 is stabilized/finalized to start using this (though by the time that it does, other software will be out there to do the exact same thing)

"As a Mac user and an M3 owner, I formally request you stop being such a giant tool."How did you get past the 5th grade, last time I checked an is only used before a noun that begins with a vowel. Go back to drinking your starbucks and looking cool typing on your mac.

Couldn't agree more. Using avant-window-navigator on my laptop and desktop for about three weeks and seems quite stable. I've tried kiba-dock before that and found it unstable and difficult to configure. Looks great but I don't actually think I've seen anyone drool.

Get a Mac!

yugiohdan6:Y'z is great but didn't they stop development on it?

This kind of misses the point, that there are plenty of people who would like to add this bit of functionality to their existing setup without having to buy a mac to do it.I don't really understand why people have such a hard time with this. Sometimes people who already have a box that provides most of what they need, they see something on some other OS that makes them say "oh hey, that looks useful!" and someone steps in to fill that need.Telling them "you should just get a mac" for a single piece of software absurd.
