I don't remember Longhorn (Vista) ever billed as "fixing" XP, instead it was going to "revolutionize" computing and put in a whole raft of features like things like Aero/Glass (included) and WinFS (dropped).It was analogous to Leopard from a marketing perspective.

Also, why the hell does Leopard have to reboot after every little update? No other version of OS X used to be like that. I don't keep up to date as much as I used to because I don't feel like stopping my work and rebooting every other day.

@fr34k5h0wI see your point. I guess this is just not how I work. I usually have some sort of application window covering portions of my desktop at all times (browser window, mail, etc.) *shrugs* to each their own.
