cgi.ebay.com— Some poor sap spent 900 dollars on 3 original playstations NOT Three Playstation 3's. No Controllers or Games included. This seller has no soul. This buyer has no brains.

"well, he only read thispart where I mislead him, and didn't read the fine print here where I explained what it really was."The fine print WAS the misleading part (though it was easily clear if you read it, not even thoroughly, but normally). The part everyone sees right away, the title, was very clear and not misleading.
he would not be contractually obligated to buy these, as per the Uniform Commercial Code and common contract law. Put simply, if one guy intends to mislead and another believes the lie that is intended, no obligation to buy. The 20GB comment easily provides the intention to mislead part.
the sale for the 3 playstations ended yesterday - if you look at the seller's feedback you'll see that he bought 'consoles' today...Half.com Item Item #: 340025604381 Item Category: Consoles Price: $24.95 Buyer: tdiddymarathon Seller: edwardg224 and.. if you dig further into the seller's feedback you'll see on 11/4 he sold some advertising space..."You're bidding on 5' x 5' advertising space in New York City. Chinatown window space for sale on 80 Lafayette Street. You tell me what to put, and check it out anytime. Space is yours for 14 days after payment."So if our hapless playstation buyer wanted his money back this might be a good place to start looking !
He has one feedback now.... from buying a Wii at a not-too-extortionate $356. I think he really did imagine he was buying a PS3 and not three PS1's.Dyslexia can be a bitch....
Not fraud at all. Not when everything the seller states in the auction is true.Assumptions by the bidder because of current product trends don't make it fraud. And just because the bidder didn't have the common sense to actually read what was being bid upon doesn't make it fraud either. It makes him stupid and reckless with money. That said, I do feel bad for the bidder because it was a pretty harsh way to learn a pretty obvious lesson. :-\
Why should they? Are you saying people shouldn't be able to sell old systems on eBay?Or that eBay should cancel all transactions where people agree to pay a large sum of money for an old item? As far as eBay is concerned, the bidder could just be a collector of old game systems.
