Like I meant to say in the OP; There's no accounting for lack of common sense.But if I saw my stolen bike being ridden by someone, I'd certainly grip someone up. OJ was panicking that the Fred Goldman might get his sports junk seized and sell it as partial compensation for the $30M civil judgement, so OJ pulled this caper to try and get his junk before Goldman got it.
