If that's truely the price of the PS3 in Hong Kong then Sony are going waaay overboard with their price differentiation. A premium PS3 and game will cost the equivalent of USD$850 in Australia. No wonder Sony wanted Lik Sang shut down

i was by no means saying the price is justifiable with the console. its still way to expensive for me!! i cant even afford a xbox 360 at the moment. @MaynardJK im not saying its better or more worth it, i won't be getting one until more games come out that ill enjoy. even with the 30 EU launch games, none of those are must haves for me. im just trying to say that Sony has charged it at a normal UK price compared to the US. the xbox 360 premium is ?270 which is about $535. now thats $135 more, why did no one complain about that?? i must've missed that digg article...i know i repeated my self but just trying to get my point across @mikewhalley, glad someone sees what im trying to say

"im just trying to say that Sony has charged it at a normal UK price compared to the US."But it is waaaaay too expensive here in the states too, so it doesn't really matter if the price ratio is the same.

where we get to hear a whole new batch of stories about PS3s decaying on the shelves of Best Buys (or whatever major electronic stores Europe happens to have)
