It sure is buddy!http://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/adct1/my_dog ...At least the submitter here didn't copy/paste the same first person title which I see all the time here. Hell, I submitted something to Reddit and Digg (a photo I took at wal-mart, which are always awesome), my Reddit submission got lots of hits, I got about 3 diggs on here, low and behold a couple days later I see MY picture on the front page here (with a different imgur link of course) submitted by a power user, with the same title in first person. It was bittersweet to say the least...
Reddit: Hey, this is a picture of me and my dog from 10 years ago and nowDigg: Hey, this is a random picture I stole from Reddit of a guy and his dog.- Comment stolen from fr4vrYou know it's really sad that these days absolutely NOTHING is original on Digg. I know it's coming off as cruel, but I've been here longer than probably any of you reading this comment except for the founders of Digg, and I miss my old Digg. The reason there is nothing original like this photo on Digg, is because it's just impossible to get your own photo on the front page of Digg. It must be done by a power user. That's why people enjoy Reddit and submit cool s**t like this there. Cause there's a good chance more people will see your cool photo over there. I would have so much cool random crap to submit here, but I don't cause I know there's no point in doing so..
I recently converted to reddit as well. I still come back here to visit from time to time, but reddit is so much more fun! Everyone has a chance to make the front page over there. Maybe Kevin Rose can talk to the writers of reddit and fix the digg algo!
