I installed this last night. The Push feature works well, something I've been waiting for a long time.My only complaint is that if you receive 5 push notifications, when you enter AIM client, you receive 5 additional notifications about the same messages. I disabled sound, but the phone vibrates anyway. They should make it so that when Push is enabled, it doesn't alert you to the same messages.

I just discovered Digsby for Windows and it's hands down the best out there (All chat clients plus social networking sites (even facebook chat)). It's in beta for Mac/Linux and hoping it makes a hop to the iPhone. It would be fantastic.

Except, texting (natively) isn't free. It's a rip off.

No, people spend large parts of their time and money to develop apps. If you're not starving and living in a box, you shouldn't steal everything you can just because you know how to. It's cowardly and lame.

Ugh. Why can't AIM just go away? Have you seen Aim 7 beta? It looks like it was designed in the f**kin' mid-nineties.
