could you really be any more ignorant? Compare Wii sales AND profits with its competitors (which really arent in the same market, in a sense), and tell me nobody is going to buy a wii. They cant even produce to their demand...idiot
This must be the largest debate with the least valid points to be found anywhere on the internet. Everyone here is right, Mario sucks ass, Nintendo sucks pretty bad too, but at the same time 12 year olds and anyone with an "I'm a 30 year old gamer living in my mom's basement" complex is going to force their parents and or guardians to buy them Mario games and feed the pocket emptying giant that is Nintendo. It's ok guys, you don't have to so violently defend Mario to prove that you're either 12, or wish you were. The only people who are wrong are those saying it's the developer's fault, it's nobody's fault that Nintendo refuses to allow good, adult oriented games onto their consoles. Anyone who expected more than a Mario-fest from the Wii should really have looked at previous Nintendo consoles and applied the asset that Mario gamers don't have (a brain) to drawing that conclusion. Nintendo, along with the majority of our generation, desperately needs to grow up. :) Developers have been trying to get GOOD GAMES on the Wii and have been rejected at every turn for fear that it may scare off their physically and mentally younger audience.
