An interesting Catholic belief is that if you are ignorant of Jesus and God but don't reject them, you will go to heaven. That covers the bases of people who believe in different religions as well as those truly do not believe that a god exists.Or my Catholic school religion teacher was full of s**t, but I don't think so as she was really really into the whole God thing.
Like I said, it's more in depth than that and to explain it all on digg would be useless because no one can think rationally around here. @ enantiodromia, I guess I'm sorry that there are people out there who want to share something great with you. No one ever said you HAVE to listen to them. Not my fault if that makes you pissy. And you're definitely twisting what I said into something terribly convoluted. When I say that someone has to know God, it's a lot more than just knowing he exists. A LOT more. But yeah, I believe in a God that loves us so much that even the crappiest of us will still get some sort of heaven. But trust me, it would still be a personal hell because we'll all know what we could've become and didn't. I think we'll be our own judge more than anything else. That doesn't mean you have to believe what I believe. But that doesn't give you the right to tear down my beliefs or question them or think yours are better. Why don't we just wait till the end to see which one of us was right. I'm looking forward to it. ;)
