You have a point, but I think that they weren't meaning to say the country is s**tty, just that, "Hey man, you're a hard worker, and after doing some good work it's nice to relax." Makes sense, right?

It's probably just old Cass or Hite (SK beer) repackaged. I imagine most North Koreans who have the money to drink are to used to soju to want to try much of anything different.Also, what they let leave the country and what they have for sale inside the country are two completely different things. They probably don't even sell that stuff to North Koreans.
