desertpeace.wordpress.com — Finkelstein, who is Jewish and the son of Holocaust survivors, has written critical books on Israeli policies in the Palestinian territories and on what he called ?exploitation? of the Jewish tragedy during World War II. He was denied entry to the country this morning, whisked away to a prison and will be deported tomorrow.

24 years in an Israeli prison? I wouldn't call that "shelter".Besides, the government tried to extradite him - the Supreme Court ruled otherwise. Here in Israel, we keep the Judicial and Executive wings separate, so there's not much they could do after that.

Oh, I am sorry, I should have taken into consideration that unless spoon-fed, you can't really understand simple statements...I guess what threw you off was that incredibly hermetic comment of mine, "and the genetic and/or cultural payload of an individual has no bearing into it."Glad to see you can admit of having made a mistake. What? You didn't ? Then I am not glad anymore. But neither am I surprised.

Nope, just trying to keep you honest. I have been in debates before where some ambiguous comments are used as truths. Don't read into things what isn't there. It's a debate. We're just on opposite sides. And TRY to be open minded. The personal attacks really aren't necessary.

Hezbollah is not a terrorist organization, they are part of the democratically elected government of Lebanon. They are designated as "terrorists" by Israel's enablers, for Israel, even thought the IOF fits the definition of a terrorist organization much better. Therefore your argument fails, astroturfer. Tell Gilead hi.

Israel is a jewish state just like Iran is an islamist state. They are both psuedo-democracies at best. Wait a minute... don't republicans call America a christian state?

Do you mean "Air strikes against terrorist targets" or "destroying a country with bombs"? Do you judge according to the official intentions or according to the clear obvious material and human consequences that everyone can see?

First of all, at least read the summary. His parents were Holocaust _survivors_. Not feeling stupid yet? Ok, how about this: neither one of the people I mentioned were ever convicted of any wrongdoing, meaning that there was never any proof that they were criminals. This is all beside the point, anyway. Any country can refuse entry to a foreign citizen. Period. No reason required. You can be the sone of Holocaust survivors, or the son of the Queen of England. Just as I don't have to let you into my house, any country can refuse to let you in, if you are not a citizen of it.
