The respective answers are NO and YES. Downgrade to 1.50 first, then upgrade to custom firmware.

hi just wanna ask a quick question ...the whole thing works, downgrading and patching using lumies UMD, but when i go and try loading the Lumines UMD just to play the UMD doesnt work it just goes to a red screeen and turns off the psp when it gets to the press start scree. so does this suppose to happen ?
