Just because they are taking your order, doesn't mean you'll have to fight with them, and doesn't mean the order taker is an idiot! Why don't you go back to your prejudiced capitalist fire pit of a f**king world and burn to death slowly!
perhaps I'm being overly rational about this, but how can you determine which is the left and right side of a circle? If you rotate it 180 degrees they will be switched. Thank god I don't work at domino's... I'd go insane.
I used to make pizzas for Dominos, before the electronic ordering. When someone would order on the phone and ask for something strange, I'd usually verify it with the person taking the order if it was right. If they weren't handy, I might just call the customer to verify, but otherwise just make it verbatim. Once you have the process down, making a pizza with split toppings is easy. 'No sauce' is silly because nothing will stick at all. 'No cheese' is more popular than you would imagine. Just don't ask for half no sauce, that's annoying and you're unlikely to get a nice even division. Since at least the mid 90s their computer systems (there have been several concurrent choices) have accommodated half toppings. One thing I wanted to point out is the pizza cook almost certainly would make the left side on the left, but the pizza would change orientation as it is transferred to and from the oven and then boxed. So the person boxing the pizza is the one who would have the option of orienting it 'correctly'. Personally I would always orient a half right up the middle but the sides would be random. In the store I worked in, by the nature of the orientations of the stations, I'd say the pizza would tend to enter the box at 180 degrees from its original position, or backwards.

It looks like they just threw a handful of beef pellets on the bread. I wonder what they're reaction was.

@Akaji, I agree it is more intuitive - but it stops people bitching about toppings being on the wrong side!
