@ JavaroastSo what, a loser trying to build up the esteem of another loser is like the blind leading the blind. Block me if your pasty white ass can't handle my "Vulgarities". Sometimes you have to pound it home with Mac fans (and yes, if you read his username, he IS MOST DEFINITELY A MAC FANBOI). The truth is you paid too much, that's all there is too it. I don't like smug Mac fans, and I love to debate their "facts". It's funny how baseless their arguments become after I show them a couple things.
If I were a billionaire, I still wouldn't buy this, because I'm smart with my money and I don't think $1800 is a very good deal for a slow laptop with no DVD drive. Regardless of how thin it is.Just because you can afford something doesn't mean you should buy it. Especially when it's such a terrible deal.
Actually my wife went NUTS about it the second we were watching the keynote, that said, my wife doesn't give a damn about computers! Nonetheless for the first time since I met her she actually lusted for it. The reason?? She HATES not to be able to rock and rattle a computer as she pleases: Everytime she takes my MacBook I weep. Plus, she think is the sexiest gadget on earth and SHE EVEN DOESN'T LIKE THE IPHONE THAT MUCH! (once she told me she hates mine) Maybe she's right. Maybe Jobs & Co. designed (un)knowingly the first computer targeted at women. Who knows....

I never use my Macbook on battery for more than an hour at a time. And that is like 4 times a year.
