@svivian I love Open Source to a worrying extent, but ClamWin isn't great. Clamav is OK for running on Linux servers that will server files to Windows, but I'd certainly not recommend ClamWin on clients. For "normal users", no resident protection is asking for trouble. Even if they blindly click "allow sexxxxxtoolbar.exe" or whatever, at least they had the chance to stop it.
It would have appreciated a comment that would have helped me with some useful information. And I should not have used the word "geek". No insult was intended. However, people who are reduced to name calling either do not have any factual information to help with my ignorance or have serious anger issues. Fortunately both are curable. Which is helpful for both of us.
