washingtonpost.com — USDA ends "hunger" in America--by changing word to "food insecurity." The government continues to change terms to be more political correct and academic, pushing policy further away from what really matters--American citizens that don't have enough to eat.

Why does the government continue to focus on words instead of the issues at hand. Changing the term "hunger" to "low food security" may be in trend with university research, but it does not reach the American public with the same power. As one non-profit leader said, "Should I alter my favorite mission statement so it reads, 'No one should go to bed extremely food insecure tonight, especially a child.'"Let's worry about the problem more than the term.
