maxconsole.net— Observe the elite sexiness my friends. Nyko has set out to do what Nintendo would not. Give us a kick ass, sleek, and very good looking charge station for our Wiimotes!

I also prefer rechargeable AA batteries because you can use them with other devices. I'm glad the battery is not built in, the Wiimote is quite expensive as it is.
@KiriA500 I started to use rechargeable AA batteries after killing 6 ordinary batteries in a week; these are lasting muuuch much longer than the ordinary ones. Like someone above me said, make sure you get a higher 'power'(?) rechargeable battery that will last.
I see your point but these are more for convenience then anything else. Since all you have to do is put the wii-motes on the charge station you just get used to storing them there and you then never have to worry about the charge on the remotes themselves. Allows for endless wireless play.
Even if this is spam, hopefully someone will figure out how to do this right. And as much as I love the Wii, why Nintendo didn't include dockable rechargeable wiimotes in the first place is beyond me.
regie said himself, (mtv interview) that he is looking forward to seeing what 3rd-party developers can do with the wii and its controllers...i would assume that means the bateries to...

not a bad idea, it would probably make it heavier though

I think that lithium batteries work the best, they worked the best for our digital camera that ate up regular AA's, energizer lithium works great.
