If someone makes a GC available for $50, I'll buy one right away. There are tons of games I'd love to get my hands on for that system...

"Now one can pay what the system is worth... about $5.Or you can shell out more and get a system with titles not meant for 7-year-olds."Nice job there, with the ignorance and all. Hope that gets you far in life.

50 dollar game cube, boo-ya-ka-sha. How could I not pick one up...along with some 20.00 dollar games like resident evil and metroid.

"Being a late adopter for the Cube rocks. Haven't spent over $10 on a game. Got Madden '03 for 2 dollars, wtf the only major difference is updated rosters. Wait, Killer 7 from gamefly was 15."Amen, even though admittedly I paid more than $10 for all my games, my highest so far is $50 for a brand new copy of Windwaker, and $45 for Smash bros. . . Metroid Prime was $15 though.I paid $90 for the console, and I have to say, if they charge less for it, even though I only just paid for it, I wouldn't feel ripped off. Whilst some people may make jokes and even disregard the console because of its kiddy nature, all I can say is that its FUN to use. Nothing like showing my girlfriend who wears the pants by spiking her pikachu with my mario ^^But seriously, if letting the stores charge whatever they like means cheaper prices (which of course, it will) and cheaper prices means more people, then hell I approve. This is a good console, and whats more important, it will help with the Revolution when it comes out. People buy a Gamecube because its cheap, have a fair bit of fun and hear about this new console Nintendo is putting out with this funky new controller, its new so $200 (the rumoured price) doesn't seem that much to shell out considering all the fun had on the GC.So this is good on two fronts, it gets ignorant 15 year olds who don't want to play "kiddy games" to shut up and also helps with potential future sales of the Revolution.

Aww. I bought a cube for $200 when it came out. Can I buy a bunch of them and network them togather with linux for some distributed computing action at least?

I never thought I would say it but I would buy a game cube if it was available for around $50. Thats a f**king deal.

Definately reflects the ammount of effort Nintendo has been putting into the GC lately.

I love my Gamecube as well. My Boyfriend bought me one for Christmas and I absolutely love it. I hope they do drop in price so others who didn't want to spend the $99 for it can get one and see how fun it is. Maybe some of the games can drop in price a bit, the newer ones that is. Still haven't paid over $20 for a game tho, which is awesome!
