arstechnica.com— Nintendo has made it clear it is against forced bundles with a very thinly-veiled threat. Here are some instructions on how to give that threat some teeth in case you're faced by unethical retailers.

umm... all I did was buy the bundle at Fry's, walked around the counter and then returned the extra crap I didn't want. The guy doing the returns didn't say a word and was actually one of the friendliest Fry's employees I've met. All in all not a bad experience for a spur of the moment Wii purchase. The key here with bundles is checking the receipt. I may have been forced to buy all crap, but they were all sold as separate items, and so there was no way the store could say I actually bought a bundle. I'm not sure if the other stores that bundle work the same way, but it doesn't hurt to sweet talk a cashier to ring it up as such.
This is the same way that I bought mine. I just randomly walked in on my way home from work, asked if they had any in stock and they did so I bought one right there on the spot.
Yea...f**k greedy stores...if I want those games, I'll buy them! And if the company making the system thought the games were that important, they would bundle them.

Supply was down before the holidays were here. I don't see it going up anytime soon.
