$250 bucks is dirt cheap, some people really need to get jobs or understand manufacturing and designing these products cost money. Not to mention all the support website, ads etc. Its sad seeing people say "Well that confirms it. I'm getting a cheapo ps2 and holding off a year or so for next-gen." $250 = 2 dinner/movie dates with a girl if your lucky. Buying a Nintendo gives you 100's of hours of entertainment.
@WiiniiThis is not an attack. : P But .. perhaps you could link to sites that confirm your information? I could probably find it all if I looked, but if yer gonna post a huge list of games/abilities, might as well post the site you learned it all from. Or sites. Let us read an learn as you (presumably) did. : )The other option is that you're a WiiSpy, and spouting propaganda! : PP
Thanks for the insightful comment there. As a matter of fact, in my house, the only thing connected to my TV that plays DVDs is my PS2, which I'd love to get rid of. The less crap hanging around under my TV the better, IMOAnd not everything does play DVDs apparently, as the Wii doesn't
Actually, worbd, it's you who's wrong. KDawg is actually correct. He was calculating the price for *3* controllers not 2. Therefore it would be $120 plus another $60 for the nunchuks for all of them. Stop digging KDawg down people... His answer is correct.
HellifIno:I've never played Rez before... and I vaguely remembered this "accessory" to the game... But after reading that second article... Well... I don't think my girl would go for it... but if it was a Japanese only accessory, I bet that's what it was truely for. I suddenly want to play Rez with my girlfriend...awesome suggestion... I wonder if the Wiimote vibrates... ...nah that would just get the buttons all sticky and broken...

I know i may be a little picky, but the price is a little higher than i was hoping it to be... Oh well, I'm sure it will be a great system anyways.

Hi, I'm a reporter with the Toronto Star. Really. I'm doing a story on Wii-related injuries or damage to household furniture/appliances. You've probably seen the stories, which I'll drop links to below, but I'm looking for someone in Toronto or surrounding area who has felt sore the next morning after playing the Wii, busted up their hand or knocked over a lamp, for example. If this is you, and this is open to pretty much anyone in Ontario, though the closer to Toronto the better, can you email me at mchung@thestar.ca? The story is due Thursday so I'd have to hear from you soon.
