joystiq.com — errin Kaplan, discussed the different approaches used by Sony and Nintendo during their coincidentally timed launches. Kaplan says, "Well, we didn't have anyone in line that got shot waiting for our system. So there's one sign of the different approaches between our two companies..."

"Kaplan goes on to say that the continued success of the Wii definitely shows they are not an afterthought in the consumer's mind."Who told her that. After the HUGE flop of the PS3 I ran out and bought a Wii. I call that an afterthought. She needs to humble herself and not follow SONY foot steps with all the slick talk.

The same way that Sony has nothing to do with someone getting shot in line? Yeah.

Nobody got shot, just butt raped by Nintendo.

That's not a very fair comparison to say the least. Bad Sony, for launching a rare, expensive console that sold out.

i think this is all being blown waaaaay out of proportion! its was a sarcastic comment sure, a little low brow? yes. but it was a joke! get over it!to be honest i think you should be asking not why she said that comment and yelling about it. you should be asking what kind of society do we have when people shoot innocent consumers and generally act like buffoons just to get an entertainment system to sell on ebay to make a profit? thats f**ked up!
