1up.com— You still can't find a Wii on store shelves without unleashing some serious Harry Potter-level magic spells and Nintendo says that may not be changing for a while.

I don't understand why it is so hard to remove a purple case and put a white case over it? I switch computer cases all the time.....I just don't get it........I just don't..
Doom I'm a 28 year old United States Customs Broker.. you wanna go ahead and ask me a Customs related question... or importing related... or My specific business major was Marketing, which I graduated with in 1999... you wanna give me a question on that? Perhaps on SPSS and marketing research? Go ahead tough guy, allow me to prove myself. If I was 12 I would be a PS3 fan, because the teenyboppers and preteens think games that suck but look pretty are awesome. They also think horrible games rated M are awesome....But no, I passed 12 way back in 1990. So, sorry I am not one of your age group.
Other than the day i picked up two of them at circuit city in january, I have only seen one system on a store shelf. That was at a local walmart in february... just one of them, on a monday morning after they had gotten some in on sunday (the walmart in question is not 24 hour and closes early on sunday)... i thought about picking it up as well, but didn't, and the next day of course it was gone.I am really enjoying the Wii and my kids are as well... I am waiting for local stores to start renting Wii games so i can try some other games...
I can understand the shortage, being that not only are gamers wanting the system badly, but they also marketed the device/machine to non gamers, increasing the demand by 10 fold. I mean, my whole family knows what the Wii is, but they don't even know what is a monitor and a computer. They think the computer is the monitor. Just goes to show you that they have marketed and spread the news well.
I got one... and I'm bored with it. I look on ebay to sell it and they're only getting what I bought it for retail. I don't understand how there could be such a huge demand that nintendo can't fill, yet they aren't getting a premium on the market???
