FzArEkTaH, I'll just assume that those are tears of joy. I like to think everyone has a passion for grammar. It's just that most people are in denial about it.

@Hurfydurfur"Yes soe required you to sign up for a seperate account that allowed you to play all sorts of different games. It was insanely annoying when you just want to log in. They haven't impressed me with: The Matrix Online, SWG, FFXI, EQ2 (which no one switched to), Planetside or w/e. There's many a complaint about each of these. I've only played one of these."I think the reason he was asking if SoE "ruined" FFXI is because it's a Square-Enix product, not a Sony product. If they are connected, I sure haven't seen it. And I am a FFXI player, and I don't find the log in to be annoying at all. I double click the short cut, then I click 3 times more? Once is the disclaimer the need since it's a MMO. I guess if you include the "hassle" of picking a character you can bump the entire process up to about 10 clicks, tops. I think that's quite comparable to any other game in the market. At least we don't have any sort of queue line up to get on a server, or enter a zone. And I never have any lag, unless I'm participating in a event with about six hundred other people (Yay Beseiged lag!)And for the record, I quite like FFXI, and you saying you've only played one of them, then decide to group them all together I think is a touch absurd. Sorry for them not impressing you, but if you haven't even checked them out, what do you expect? Curse those stupid game companies for not bringing a playable version to my house for me to try. Of course I'm not expecting you to try every game in the market, that's just too much money, and time. I'm just asking you to not trash talk stuff you haven't even played. So you've seen a bunch of complaints about them? Welcome to the Internet. You can find a complaint about everything and anything. If you do enough digging, you can probably find some people like me who like some of those games.

Statistics. You can see what game you play the most and how much time you spend playing each game.

@Topher06 : Cheapest console release in history? What about when the SNES was launched - at $199? (Like the N64, GameCube and NES)....If anything, Nintendo has broken tradition. It's the HIGHEST launch price of a Nintendo console to date... Regardless, it's still a good price, even if it's pricy to get the accessories.Nostalgia... I don't think I ever looked forward to a console more than I did for the SNES...

Wait, someone beat me to the punch and bitched about no numbers:So I went here:http://inflationdata.com/Inflation/Inflation_Rate/InflationCalculator.asp#resultsand discovered the inflation rate between Jan 2006 and Jan 1994 is 35.64% (if you wanna believe their calculator - another potential thing to bitch about perhaps?)So, given this, 200 in 1994 would = 200 * 1.3564 = $271.28 in 2006 US dollarsLikewise, 250 in 2006 would = 250 / 1.3564 = $184.81 in 1994 US dollarsSo, it's not as drastic as some would say, but at least between 94 and 06, a dollar then would be worth more than a dollar today. And so yes, the Wii is actually a small bit cheaper than consoles back in the day. Then again, according to the exact year you want to compare to, your milage may vary.No can we please stop complaining about how the cheapest next gen console is 'too much money' with one breath while trying to justify a 600-dollar toy with the next?
