I was planning on buying one of the newer models, but after reading this I might just go with the cheaper alternative.

I shoot a D2H and am seriously considering the jump to Canon. $600 for 6.1 mega-pixels with a consumer body and set-up? WTFThere's no there, there. Pony up the extra $250 and pick up a D70 or D80.
