I once knew a former Crip. He quit the gang, went to college, and became one of the better engineers I knew. I always think of that when people say they are unable to change their circumstances in life...
Dick Cheney would be akin to the highest achievement of gang leadership. He doesn't want to leave his life style. By the way: He doesn't spend time in jails, he invests in them. It all about control.
