I'm using my work mac, and when viewing pdfs, especially in preview, about 25% of the time = program crash or memory leaks. So I don't want to hear ignorant things like 'get a mac' to solve computing problems. Macs have as many, (and in my experience, scores more unfixable) problems then PCs. A lot of you are brainwashed by the pretty commercials and dumbed down interface, impersonating a functional computer when in fact what you (and I, at work) have is a glorified toy. But back to the point, PDFs can be wonderful things, when they work, especially when in the hands of a good designer (like myself). There are things you can do in PDF, that just aren't possible anywhere else. Ease of web printing, active image scaling for extra high resolution images (300dpi+), ease of transition from inDesign or Illustrator, and don't forget about the vectors. All this in alot smaller package than HTML / images or flash with images. These features are not available in web browsers generally, on any platform.

This goes beyond "respectable." Did the editor even LOOK at the paper?

And you didn't threaten to beat him till he ends up in the hospital on a respirator (and then carry through when he didn't hand it over)? That f**ker would be dead, literally, for stealing my 600 bones.
