versiontracker.com — Apple has released an update to Boot Camp. Boot Camp is the software solution that will allow the Intel Macs to dual boot into Windows. For people who want to run Windows on their Intel Macs, this is the fastest solution. This is update might include bug fixes, maybe new features too. Apple has not provided additional information on that yet.

I think you need to check your sources..."That's why Apple has been going down the drain"... since when? Apple is more popular then they have been in years."Restrictions don't sell. It's a lot like DRM protected music" Don't blame Apple for this. They are required to do this by the music industry. And Apple is in the top 10 music stores in the world, not just onlines stores but brick and mortar too so I think they are selling just fine."Only someone who isn't an Apple "fanboy" would realize this." I guess this should read "Only someone who cannot check their facts would realize this."

Was that a reply or just a random comment to the entire world?

Windows is a service pack that is even more powerful, allowing 99% of the worlds population to control your computer for you and helpfully distribute all of your important passwords so they will not be forgotten.Man, that just rolled all over your joke. Sorry to upstage you but it's just so easy to bring down Windows fanboys, kind of like dynamiting fish in a barrel.

You're a funny guy.I've had a lot of laughs reading your wrong headed logic.I don't even have a Mac, but I have to admire the hardware / software design of the apple products as well as the business savvy of Jobs.iTunes and iPod completely dominate the Windows digital music markethttp://news.com.com/iTunes+outsells+traditional+music+stores/2100-1027_3-5965314.htmlApple makes > 80% of revenue on their hardware. And despite the obvious market cap differences, Apple has increased share holder value > 400% in the last five years. While Microsoft has lost value over the same period:http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=AAPL&t=5y&l=off&z=l&q=l&c=msftLastly, have you tried emusic? emusic = real music store = (new) napster = walmart music store (Do you see any pattern there?)Anyway, I'm sure you will disagree...But those are my 2 cents

Companies running Xserves are proud to have them because they paid 3x the price compared to any other server. I mean, I would love to have one too, but it's hard to find a company that can justify that cost.

So is there an upgrade method just to update the previous bootcamp installed on a system or do you have to do the whole install process again? I can't seem to find any documentation on the upgrade aspect of Boot Camp.

@j_bellone".. the so called "hangs" and "failures" that Windows XP has (which it doesn't)"have you even used Windows XP before?Sidenote to all fanboys of the Mac: after you have it more than a few months, and the shiny newness of it wears off you will notice it is a computer just like any other. It will hang, crash, not work the way you want it to and all the other fun things you experienced on every OS that ever existed. (I've been a Mac user for many years, along with Linux and Windows).Windows: Blue Screen of DeathOS X: Gray Screen of DeathWindows: Frozen HourglassOS X: Beachball of DeathKernel panic? unless you are running in a virtualized kernel environment these panics will halt your system, any system.

They seem to have added a ctrl-shift-f1 and ctrl-shift-f2 shortcut to the new driver set. I found mention of it in the rtf included in the dmg file.
