macrumors.com — Apple introduced two new features in iTunes today. My Alerts is custom page on iTunes which lists "recent releases from artists whose work you've purchased on iTunes." and "Complete My Album" allows customers to purchase the remainder of an album for a discounted price.

Does the "My Alerts" work with anything in your library, or does it have to be things bought from their store? It could be extremely useful, but if it only checks items you've bought directly from them, well, I'm screwed.

Isn't there some conspiracy thing going on that you need to adjust your tinfoil hat for? You sure seem to enjoy spending time writing crap about products you don't use. Seems like a colossal waste of time to me, but hey, it's your iKharma.

I have 402 albums to complete?! I guess I use iTunes alot... most of the albums are $6-9, and there are plenty that I wanted to download the albums in the past, so i am in love with this new feature!

Cool, but I think I'll stick with last.fm - more music, and I don't have to buy DRM'd crap.

@cgomez: I see now. I thought that you get the credit and an additional discount.

I have a few songs I got from CDs from my library, and there is no complete my album feature for it.
