Two months ago, molecular biologists at Tulane Univ. examined stored specimens of his tissue for signs of the AIDS virus and found that he was apparently infected with it.

Well, resistance is a lucky thing, but don't understimate the power of viruses to eventually overcome the obstacle ...Also, note that it is a resistance which does not definitely imply total immunity.

I always thought there is no such thing like an AIDS virus? I was told there is an HI virus that causes AID syndrome. Nah... The doctors must know it better... I have to learn again.
