Even if it was PROVEN [you know, something you need to do before you can make a factual opinion about something], if less intrusive methods of doing that that work better exist, and they do, I'll still say f**k no.
They aren't needed, so f**k stepping on my liberties, and f**k the paranoid notions of being blown up without something we didn't have for 106 years of aviation [in genera] to justify the invasion.

The MTA does a much better job than the TSA does, though. And contrary to what you may have been told by talk radio hosts, union workers can be fired. Pretty much every union worker I know has been fired at one point or another.

Profiling would be greatly enhanced by a simple procedure.You go into a mosque, your name onto a list. If you want to get on an airplane and your name is on that list, you get special attention.Same for those who whine about screening being profiling. What are they hiding? On the listPeople with muslim names, wearing burqas or who otherwise show the common characteristics of muslims should also get extra screening. We are just talking a little extra attention. If they are innocent, they get on the plane. People who object are obviously hiding something.
