flickr.com — So how new is the new iMac? Well, judging by the looks of things, it's fresh but not a revolution. The scaling used in this photo is probably not perfect, but as close as I could get. Still, shows the difference in thickness pretty well.

I like the mock-up that was on here a little while ago. It had black above and below the screen, and the same silver bezel around the outside of it. THAT looked like a big iPhone. I would have much preferred to see that.

If I were just curious, it would be very hard to say to someone, ''I want to come to your house and have you talk to me and tell me the story of your life.'' I mean people are going to say, ''You're crazy.'' Plus they're going to keep mighty guarded. But the camera is a kind of license. A lot of people, they want to be paid that much attention and that's a reasonable kind of attention to be paid.

actually i think the main change to the new imac is a change in the production process. Mainly the aluminium and glass is just easier to recycle.i actually really like the black border and back though because the contrast nicely with the aluminium
