The whole causus belli was a lie, and perhaps even manufactured.For example, how does today's drumbeat for war with Iran square with the 9/11 hijackers being mostly Saudi dilettantes? If Iran is the global terror master, where is the link to 9/11? Or was 9/11 just a Big Show, cheered on by the "dancing Israelis" because it was supposed to start us on a path to war with Iran?ALL of this s**t is a lie. 3000 U.S. soldiers died for a lie. 3000 American civilians died to create the New Pearl Harbor Show. It is ALL a lot more rotten than you could even begin to imagine.

Looks like a no-name journalist trying to make a name for himself. Chances are, he's the one who did it. The Government could care less about something he "could have" said. America is going down the drain from its people not the government.

I think most people in here are neglecting to notice that the news media in all it's different forms (including the NYT) conducts their own censorship every single day. They decide what you will hear and how you will hear it. Consider the following examples:Many newspapers across this country and Europe would not show the Mohammed cartoons.The BBC will not say the word "Muslim". They always say "Asian".Reuters or AP (can't remember which) said they would not use the word "terrorist".One thing I hear or read over and over again that is quite bipatisan is, "Why is the media not reporting __?__" (Insert your subject matter in the blank area)This should be bothersome to all of us. Face it...they frame the story (if they decide to tell it) and are just as responsible for 'thought control' as the CIA.

I dont understand what was stopping them from publishing it unredacted. When will people stop being gutless and do what they believe in. Is no one willing to die for something that they really believe in? Americans have turned into gutless cowards of their own government.

I don't think the example you gave was a very good one.There are some better ones out there if you want to start another back and forth with me.First, she was already "outed" by many people including her husband.Second, it is kinda tough to out a person who is no longer working in that capacity.Third, Bush and Cheney didn't "out" her. An independent investigation that Bush called for confirms this.It is a very convoluted story, but if you check it out, Bush and/or Chaney had nothing to do with it. Actually I am a bit surprised yo think that.As far as people all living under one law, how do you feel about Clinton lying to a grand jury which is a felony? Gitmo is for enemy combatants, not ordinary citizens or soldiers that practice the Geneva convention's rules of engagement. So unless you are in combat against the US and don't practice the Geneva rules of engagement, you need not worry.
