techcrunch.com — Yahoo?s new home page, which is currently viewable at yahoo.com/preview, will go live at yahoo.com in the U.S. on Monday. The new home page has a significantly different layout than the current look, as well as some AJAX integration, DHTML and more personalization features. I'm going to get dugg down for saying this, because it's Yahoo and not Google, but I think it looks really really good. The option to switch between narrow and wide view is a nice touch, and the mail preview is just sweet. It's much cleaner looking than the old page. I wish they would change their logo, or smarten it up a small bit, it screams 1995.

"am I out the loop or something but hasn't this been live (beta) with over a month?"--Sure if you accept Google's redefinition of the word "beta" to mean "live."
