blogs.ign.com — Matt from IGN has confirmed some new Wii games that will be coming out within the next year or two. First up we have DK: Konga Blast which was slated for the Cube, but pushed to the Wii. Next is a new Kirby game, which was announced at E3 two years ago or so, but never heard from again, then Wii Music, which was a demo at E3, and Wii Health.

I love my Wii. Don't get me wrong. But nintendo needs to get off their ass and not only come out with an innovative system, but a brand new game that gets people excited. Somethign with both good multiplayer, single player, and online support.

Game store trade-ins rip you off. Use eBay.More work yes, but lots more cash.

Nintendo is not going to make a new game for what is now pretty much a dead system. They are completely concentrated on the Wii in the home console market.

Man, Donkey Kong is always Nintendo's little guinea pig. Donkey Konga, Jungle Beat, King of Swing, now Konga Blast... he's always getting put into these offbeat titles.

Why is it that the before the release of the wii it was being hyped so much that there would be SO much third-party support? and now that its out this "support" has suddenly vanished? And we are still stuck with the same games with new "innovative" ways to play. The zelda-mario-metroid combo is gonna get old. The release list for this years wii games have no original third party support. Just run-down ports of games readily out for other consoles. Don't even try to say the usual EA games because thats just EA penny pinching its games to make more money and just throwing on hand waving "gestures". I own a wii because i was promised great software....i don't want weight loss programs i want games. Until then I'll be playing my 360 with Tom Clancy games on a regular basis.
