There's another new method not even mentioned here. They have the technology now, to remove a very small amount of stem cells from an embryo, without harming the embryo.That was announced a couple of months ago. Surprised it wasn't mentioned in this article, since it too was in Nature magazine.

Whoa there! On one side you have thousands and thousands of fertilized embryos that will never be people. On the other you have the few selected to actually be gestated. Who in their right mind would collect stem cells from the embryos that will be gestated?
