nice, i am don't like that the whole thing is blueish color, the only thing i like blue is the background behind the paper. I wonder what the mac version will look like. I hope we can change the the setting of the blue.
The tool-bars and menu-bars are a complete mess as usual from Microsoft. Now you can't even tell where your menus end and your tool bar begins. I'm not sure if these are tears or if my eyes are bleeding.Although, I have to congratulate them for finally being able to render a chart that doesn't look like ass.

Might *look* beautiful, but will it run beautifully? That's the key.

I thought the apex of Word was 6.0: clean, superfast, already had spellcheck.Check AbiWord: could bring that sensation :-)

If anyone's interested in seeing the UI in action rather than just the static screenshots (although thank you for posting them Vincent!), the UK product manager has recorded a demo on his blog: http://blogs.msdn.com/officerocker/archive/2006/02/05/UI_demo.aspxIt's done using the beta 1 version and gives you a pretty good feel for what it can do. (Disclosure: I do PR for Office in the UK, but don't let that put you off, Darren's done a genuniely good demo)
