Wow! I glad this site has finally started getting Apple stories to the front page. For a moment I was thinking this was Microsoft.com.

It appears we need a sarcasm indicator on Digg now, because some of you clearly wouldn't know sarcasm if it bit you in the face.

@jesusphreak: It makes perfect sense to me to colocate a Mini. Actually, I was getting ready to say what a great idea that was when I read your comment. If you think about it, the Mini has all the power you need to be a great web and email server, whether you use MacOS or Linux. The colo facility can save space by using Minis instead of towers (and it's a lot cheaper to get a Mini than a 1U rack mount), you save money shipping it to them because of the size, and $499 (or a little more if you pump it up) is a good price for the box itself.

> colocated miniMakes me laugh. There is this one rack in our data center that has shuttle boxes like this. Stacked 3 across and about 7 high. Must be a pita to pull on out in the middle of the heap.I'll stick with 1U/2U servers with RAID, redundant PSUs, etc. thank you very much.
