The evangelicals just don't see how they have screwed up this nation and made us the a laughing stock and most hated around the world. i like it better when they were in the closet.
MavisJ, Please refrain from posting anti-Mormon rhetoric on Mike Huckabee articles. We are not electing a Theologian-In-Chief, but rather the CEO of America and commander-in-chief of the armed forces. The constitution guarantees the freedom for everyone to practice their religion. Each candidate should be judged on the issues and how they would run the country, not personal religious beliefs. Romney's convenient flip-flopping on abortion is of much more concern than his private faith.
Well, if you're for letting people having the freedom to practice their own religion, why would you support a candidate that does not support the freedom to marry whomever you choose? Obviously homosexuality is not a religion, but if people are truly free to practice the religion of their choice, why not have the freedom to marry the person of their choice (and receive the same benefits the rest of us enjoy)?
The most disturbing thing in this story, again, is how the media continues to marginalize and demonize Ron Paul. The media are shameless shills for the status quo, promoting the anointed like cheap suits.
