This feature would be a great addition to the iPhone feature set, which is rapidly becoming boring in the absence of 3rd party applications. Last night, my wife asked me which games I could play on my iPhone. I thought about it - maybe I could pretend to own some volatile stock and watch the graph go up and down. Or perhaps I could follow the weather in Tierra del Fuego? Please Apple - new apps!!!

Meanwhile...it already works on a ton of other phones.

New Google Maps feature could simulate GPS on iPhones - minus the i from Phones and you'd have a decent title.
