gearthblog.com — Just today it has been discovered Google has pushed out a new update to its aerial and satellite photos for Google Maps (Google Earth hasn't been updated yet). So far, we have discovered new high res photos in California, Texas, New Hampshire, Conn., NC, and the Netherlands. Check this blog for a updating list.

Northwest Vermont - including Burlington, Milton, Hinesburg, Huntington and more has new Hi-Res that appears to be from Mid-2004 that wasn't there a few days ago.Southern Adirondacks of NY (Queensbury, Glens Falls area) also has newer Hi-Res imagery.

Sacramento, CA still has imagery that's at least four years old..... missing all kinds of development and freeway/onramps, etc.

As far as I can tell the Long Beach, CA and surrounding area has not been updated. The new houses built 2 years ago still have not been updated.

Maybe so, but the images of Tuttle are great. Maybe we could even get a look at Jerry Taylor's house.

Hanford, CA has new images, but you have to zoom out a few notches. It's still an enormous improvement.Clovis, CA is still at least a couple years old, judging by my parents' backyard.

Rochester, NY has been updated. They actually show the new soccer stadium and the new Troup-Howell bridge under construction. Still waiting for the arches over the Troup-Howell bridge though. Looks like they are from about a year ago.

Nassau county, NY has been updated, the pictures are at least 6 months old though.
