freebsd.org — The FreeBSD Project is pleased to announce the launch of a new website today. The new design was created by Emily Boyd, a student at Smith College that we had the pleasure of working with through Google's Summer of Code program.

It looks better than it did. But when are we going to get a better logo? The little daemon guy is fine and all, but it really needs an update from a better artist.

I'm dissapointed with Linux and will try one of the *BSDs in some months. This may be not entirely true but:/*paraphrased quote "Linux hates Windows, *BSD loves UNIX" paraphrased quote*/"The look of an OS is determined by the window manager. You can put any window manager you want on FreeBSD and make that look however fancy or simple you want."Yes like KDE (search also PC-BSD).

It's definately improvement but really nothing amazing. What is it with these unix-esque and having really poorly-designed websites. Does it make them cooler and more hardcore or something?
