daringfireball.net— Got a Mac with a scrollwheel mouse or two finger "scroll" trackpad? Hold Ctrl and scroll that wheel around. Now you can zoom in on any point on your screen at any time. Pretty cool!

Please people, stop pointing out that your system had this feature in 10.4.7! (Wireless Mighty mouse users, MacBook users etc...)The smooth zooming existed on OS X since a long time ago, but the majority of OS X users didn't have access to scroll-wheel zoom controls before 10.4.8 and that's newsworthy in itself.
Great for reading the NYT digital Newsstand.com, using their MAC reader Ibrowse which has been tough to use not as good as their reader on Windows. It is the answer to reading the paper. Thanks for the tip.
I like this most very - I particularly like the command - option - backslash anti-alias toggle. I can make out the characters in this bastard captcha. My grammar's fine by the way; although sometimes she needs reminding how to suck eggs.

It came with the Wireless Mighty Mouse drivers, but it's now part of 10.4.8. Are you sure you're not still at 10.4.7?
