huffingtonpost.com— The documentary For Liberty beautifully shows us what Markos Mousitlas called the only true people-powered campaign in 2008.

A documentary for a campaign that essentially crashed and burned and finished with zero primary wins and a percentage of the vote in the single digits? Now i've seen everything.I think I'm going to bury this for what is basically a plug for the sellers of the documentary.
FREEEEDUMMB!In 2001 Ron Paul submitted the Marque And Reprisal bill. It would have authorized the issuing of letters of Marque, to send mercenaries to invade Afghanistan to capture Bin Laden. The use of mercenaries is a war crime.Own goal? Yep. Score? You betcha.
You missed a bit: "(d) Is not a member of the armed forces of a party to the conflict"And if it's still not quite clear:"2. A mercenary is also any person who, in any other situation: (a) Is specially recruited locally or abroad for the purpose of participating in a concerted act of violence aimed at: (i) Overthrowing a Government or otherwise undermining the constitutional order of a State; or (ii) Undermining the territorial integrity of a State;"Sorry, paying mercenaries to go to Aghanistan is using mercenaries, even if they're US nationals, and still a war crime.

It just goes to show you that the people really have very little impact on the elections.

My personal litmus test for wingnut is the term "MSM". Anyone who uses it, is. Never fails.

But why does Ron Paul hate the first amendment? Why would he ban citizens from appealing unconstitutional laws restricting the freedom of expression, freedom of religion, freedom of congregation and... well, all other freeeeeeedoms?http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111 ...

You are a moron junkyard. That bill keeps the federal courts out of state matters. Exactly as it should be under the 9th and 10th amendments.

Some people don't understand individual freedoms.
